There is a toilet block in the car park, suitable for all the family (Requires a key code which can be got from the club secretary.)

Night fishing is permitted up to a maximum of 48 hours.

Byron

Byron

This lake is used mainly for pleasure fishing and matches. Because of the higher catch rate, albeit smaller fish, it is ideal for beginners or a fun day out.

Stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd and Perch. Although most of the fish here are of small to average size a few surprises have been caught here.

Average depth of 5 feet with a number of lily beds. Being next to the car park access to all swims is easy and the path around Byron is well maintained.

Shelley

Shelley

This lake is mostly used by our Carp anglers and is home to the majority of our most popular swims.

Stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Pike often of larger sizes than Byron.

Depth varies from 3 to 9 feet in depth with a lily filled bay.

There is easy access from the car park and the path around Shelley is well maintained.

Milton

Milton

This lake is connected to Shelley and mostly used by anglers who are prepared to walk a little further.

Stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Pike often of larger sizes than Byron.

Average depth is 6 feet and has a few lily beds and a small island.

Milton is accessible via the path round Shelley and the path around it is well maintained.

Please take extreme care when entering and leaving the fishery because traffic moves fast on the road and the entrance is close to a blind bend. It is best to open your car window and listen before pulling out on to the roadway.
